Its that time of the year again
Fall is upon us. Time to prepare for shorter days, colder evenings and time indoors with family and friends. As the leaves turn to beautiful burgundy, gold, rusts and ambers our moods gravitate for warmth.
We recommend some ways to update your home for the Fall Harvest.

1. Bring out the colorful fall blankets and throws with warm colors and texture.

2. Hang curtains to warm up your room and to protect your furniture from the sun.

3. Surround your home with inviting candles that entice the senses.

It is real that people lay on this awesome bed at night?  Of course, they do.  This bed vignette is completed with upholstered walls (the two side panels, the wall above the pillows and the back panels where there wall sconces are located), with five down/feather euroshams (yes, five is the magic number in this case), one thin sophisticated long bolster, a soft duvet cover with solid blue linen border and piping at the perimeter, and finally custom a bedskirt with that solid blue border made from linen.  This is an extraordinary bed, not one single detail would lead to Bed, Bath and Beyond, Bloomingdales, Macy or even Target.  The combination of colors suggest tranquility between the sage color in the bedskirt, the soft blue in the details, the red, slight brown and the cream.   It is pure luxury, to the finest.

One suggestion that I would like to see going into the restful bed vignette is a hard wood headboard between the bed and the wall upholstery.  For example one of our classic headboard in espresso finish would be fantastic.  It is missing some depth and a little pizzazz.

So who sleeps in this bed?  This peace keeping bed is a favorite of Mr. and Mrs. A with two children and a very busy schedule seven days a week.

Dear TheWebers:

Bring in the curtains.  Curtains are the way to go.  They protect your furniture, provide great sound control, and they help keep the draft out during the winter season.  We recommend purchasing 6 panels of ready made curtains.   The curtains must be pieced together; three panels per side.   We definitely recommend hiring an interior designer or decorator to work on this project.  Your window is extremely wide.  With six panels it is not possible for the curtains to move back and forth therefore we recommend hiring a professional who knows what they are doing is a must.
